Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) & Takedown Policy

1. Status of Service

Radios France and all RMApp Radio applications act as a technical intermediary and directory service. We do not host, store, broadcast, cache, or re-transmit any audio or video content on our servers. The application provides hyperlinks to publicly available streams hosted directly by third-party broadcasters on their own servers or authorized CDN infrastructure.

No audio data passes through RMApp servers at any point. The app functions as a specialized technical player (User-Agent) that facilitates a direct connection between the user's device and the broadcaster's public URL. This model is legally equivalent to a hyperlink directory or search engine index.

RMApp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the radio stations or broadcasters listed in the application.

2. Copyright Infringement Notification

RMApp respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content linked within our application infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works;
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
• Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Please note: Submitting a false DMCA notice may expose you to liability for damages. If you are unsure whether the material infringes your copyright, consult a legal professional before submitting a notice.

3. Contact Information

All removal requests, DMCA notices, and copyright-related inquiries should be sent to our designated Copyright Agent:

You do not need to provide legal justification to request the removal of your station. If you are a broadcaster and simply do not wish your station to be listed, we will remove it immediately upon your request.

4. Response Time

We commit to reviewing and processing all valid removal requests within 24 hours of receipt. Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the submitter of the action taken.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed from our directory due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your written counter-notification must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature;
• Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal;
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification;
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
• A statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, RMApp maintains a policy of terminating access, in appropriate circumstances, for users or developers who are deemed to be repeat infringers. RMApp reserves the right to remove any content and terminate access at its sole discretion.

7. Broadcaster Self-Service

In addition to the formal DMCA process, broadcasters may use our self-service portal to request immediate removal or updates to their station listing at any time:

This policy applies to all RMApp Radio applications, including Radios France, Radio Switzerland, Radio Japan, Radio Germany, and all other RMApp radio products available on the Apple App Store.
