In this policy, "RMApp", "we" and "us" refer to the independent developer who publishes the RMApp Radio apps and operates the rmapp.site website. It applies to listeners who use our apps and to broadcasters who contact us through our website.
About the Service
RMApp apps are radio directories and aggregators. They list publicly available radio streams and link listeners directly to them. Broadcasters can ask us to add, update or remove a station at any time. The App does not host, store, copy, or retransmit any audio content. All radio streams are publicly available sources provided by the respective broadcasters on their own servers. No audio data passes through RMApp servers at any point.
The App functions as a specialized technical player (User-Agent) that facilitates a direct connection between the user's device and the broadcaster's public URL. The App does not modify, alter, or insert any additional audio into the streams. The Service acts as a passive pass-through directory.
Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Information
We collect minimal personal and usage data to improve your experience, display relevant ads, and analyze usage patterns. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any directly identifying personal information unless you voluntarily contact us.
2.2 Non-Personal Information
We may collect non-personal data automatically, including:
- Device type and model
- Operating system and version
- Country or language settings
- IP address (for analytics and regional content)
- App interactions and usage data
- Session duration and crash logs
2.3 Location Data
The App may request access to your approximate location to serve region-based radio streams. This is optional and can be denied at any time. Precise location data is never collected.
2.4 Listening Data
We do not collect or store your individual listening history linked to any personal identifier. Usage data related to station popularity may be collected in aggregated and anonymized form only.
2.5 Purchases and Subscriptions
Some apps offer an optional Premium subscription that removes advertising. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account (iPhone, iPad) or by Google through your Google Play account (Android). We never receive or store your payment details, your name, or your billing address. The App only keeps, on your device, the information that a subscription is active, so that ads can be turned off.
2.6 Favorites and Preferences
Your favorite stations, the last station you played and your app settings are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to our servers and are deleted when you uninstall the App.
2.7 Camera and Gallery Permission
We may request access to your camera and gallery to allow you to take or select images for updating your profile photo or uploading station logos for our search feature.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for advertising, analytics, and improving app functionality. These third parties may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
3.1 Advertising Partners
We use the following advertising partners to show personalized or non-personalized ads. They may collect the Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, Android Advertising ID on Android), device and usage data, and approximate location if enabled. Users in the EU/EEA are prompted for consent under GDPR and may opt in or out at any time via the in-app Privacy Settings.

3.2 Analytics
We may use Google Analytics for Firebase to monitor app performance and Crashlytics to track stability. We also use Firebase Remote Config (iOS) and a station list file published on rmapp.site (Android) to deliver the up-to-date list of stations to the App; downloading this list sends no identifier. 3.3 Radio Stream Providers
When you play a station, your device connects directly to the broadcaster's server or their CDN. The broadcaster may collect connection data (IP address) per their own privacy policy. RMApp has no control over broadcaster data practices. The App acts as a passive pass-through player.
Consent & User Choices
4.1 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
For iOS 14.5 and above, we request your permission before tracking activity across other apps and websites, per Apple's ATT framework. On Android, users in the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown Google's consent form before any personalized ad; you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings › Google › Ads, or Settings › Privacy › Ads).
4.2 Personalized Ads
You can manage advertising preferences from the "Privacy Settings" screen in the App at any time.
4.3 Opt-Out
You can restrict or opt out of data collection via iOS Privacy Settings, Android settings, or the app-specific privacy settings within the App ("Manage my preferences").
Data Storage and Security
- All collected data is anonymized and encrypted in transit
- We retain user data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy
- No audio content, no sensitive personal data, and no listening history linked to individuals is stored on our servers
- We do not sell personal data to third parties
Broadcaster Rights & Content Removal
All radio streams, logos, and station names are the intellectual property of their respective owners. RMApp does not claim ownership of any content.
If you are a broadcaster and wish to have your station removed or updated, contact us at contact.rmapp@gmail.com or use our Broadcaster Portal. All valid removal requests are processed within 24 hours.
6.1 Information collected through the Broadcaster Portal
When you send a request through the Broadcaster Portal, we collect the information you choose to enter in the form:
- Station name, country and genre
- Stream URL, station website and logo URL
- Your relationship to the station
- Your contact email address
- Any notes or details you add to your request
We use this information only to review and process your request — adding, updating or removing a station — and to reply to you. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Form submissions are handled by Netlify, Inc., which hosts our website and processes these requests on our behalf. Netlify may process this data in the United States. Its privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy.
We keep requests only for as long as needed to process them and to keep a record of the listing, update or removal of the station. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your request at any time by writing to contact.rmapp@gmail.com.
Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover such data has been collected, it will be deleted immediately.
